Winter is settling in! Now is the time to pamper your wildlife friends! We are selling squirrel food for your furry friends during the cold winter season. Purchase a $10 box of field corn and make a squirrel family very happy. This fundraiser relies on your word of mouth. So please spread the word! Contact Kelsey @ 563.920.9324 or stop by Sherman's Pumpkin Patch for your box today.
MAGNETIC NAME TAGS The week of February 5th I will be placing a third order for nametags. If you placed an order in Nov. or Dec. your nametag will be ordered at that time. If you have a name tag please remember to wear it. It is so helpful to the pastor and the congregation in getting to know each other. These nametags are an attractive gold. The strong magnet holds through heavy fabric of a suit coat or sweater and there is no pin to snag your clothing. The cost is $6.00 each and can be ordered by calling the church office at 927-4439 or Janine Stellick at 927-3485. Again the deadline is Feb. 6th. It will be quite a while before another order is placed. Thank you.
Note to the Ministry Team Chairs: As the new year starts to unfold and there are new members on the various ministry teams, please be aware that the office has a CD that outlines the responsibilities of each ministry team.
You may check the CD out of the office between the hour of 8:00am - 4:00pm. (The office is closed 11:30-12:00) for lunch. If you would like to call ahead it can be arranged to have the CD where you can pick it up.

Feel Good!! It is hard to believe that going to the grocery store and buying gas could possibly make you feel good? Especially when the price of everything continues to climb. The truth is~ you can feel great each time you buy groceries and gas because every time you do~ you have the opportunity to help the church make money! All you have to do is buy with SCRIP!
Simply convert your cash to SCRIP. SCRIP is like plastic cash in your wallet or purse. You can purchase SCRIP with a check. It is available nearly every day of the week. It can be purchased after services every Sunday and Monday through Friday between 8:00-4:00pm in the church office. What a wonderful program to be a part of. Help the church earn extra money without spending any extra of yours. It feels good! J
In House Missions Second Helpings continues to serve a steady number of families a hot healthy meal on Monday nights. Lately donations to this ministry have been quite low. Your financial support of this local ministry would be greatly appreciated so this ministry can continue. You can include a donation with your Sunday contribution envelope and receive credit on your end of year tax statement. You may also leave a contribution with Alison in the church office. Please make checks payable to: Second Helpings.
Connectional Ministries: This wonderful ministry keeps this church family connected to one another. Coffees are organized at the GNH and Meadows, Prayer Shawls are made and delivered to members who need could use some additional comforting, birthdays and anniversaries are acknowledged, and all are made to feel welcome. A financial donation would help cover the cost of materials, stamps and other supplies needed to keep this ministry strong. Again, you can include a donation with your Sunday contribution envelope and receive credit on your end of year tax statement or leave it with Alison in the office.
The Request Clothing Closet: Provides clothing for those in our community who may be having trouble making ends meet and may be in need of warm clothing for their children or themselves. A financial donation to this ministry will help purchase additional shelving and clothes racks. The Pastor's Poor Fund: These are funds that are donated to be used for individuals who find themselves in need or possibly a crisis situation. The church has been a source of hope for many as they have found themselves in unpredictable situations. This fund account gives the Mission Coordinator or the Senior Pastor available funds to help these individuals out in a hurry. If you would like to donate to this mission you can do so easily through your contribution envelopes. Thank you!! To all the wonderful volunteers who spend COUNTLESS hours with each of these missions to keep them going. These missions could not go on without you!!

The UMW Circle The ladies of the Manchester UMW group would like to help both the schools in town raise extra funds through collecting labels and USP codes. If you notice any of the following labels on the packaging of the items that you buy, please snip the label or USP code and keep them in an envelope. When you have gathered a few labels, simply drop them in the bucket located at the entrance of church the next time you are there. These money making coupons will be distributed between St. Mary's and West Delaware Schools.
